poetry in motion :P
I was looking at my life today: The many things I've wished to say, The price for love, I've had to pay. The times I've pushed them all away, The times I've badly wished to stay. I've mucked around in every way, Where black and white fade in to grey. Oh, life's a funny game to play. Each turn you have a choice to make As simple as which road to take. And yet, quite hard, which dreams to break, Which friend to choose when all are fake. Enough to make you scream and shake, And fall, at last, to knees that quake. Though life will rarely be at stake, Such choices I cannot partake.
As life calls conscience to awake.
Then looking back upon them all, I see the ones that I let fall, The ones I let just hit the wall. My blindness to the early call, Of burdens I would surely haul. Not knowing what fate had in stall, Mistakes to make your smooth skin crawl. As messy as a small child's scrawl, And still I try to stand up tall.
Life makes you feel so very small.
